HouseTask ("the app") helps you track home and property maintenance. This policy explains what we store and how we handle it.

What we collect

Account information you provide when you sign up (your name and email, or the identifier from Apple or Google sign-in), and the content you enter — properties, units, tasks, maintenance records, contacts, inventory, and financial notes.

How your data is stored

Your data is saved on your device. If you create an account, it also syncs to our backend provider (Supabase) so you can restore it. Every record is tied to your account and protected so that only you can read or change it.

How we use it

We use your data only to provide the app's features — storing your records, syncing across your devices, and scheduling on-device reminders. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Sign-in providers

If you sign in with Apple or Google, that sign-in is handled by the provider under their own privacy policy. We receive only the identifier and basic profile needed to create your account.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from the Account menu. This permanently removes your account and the data synced to it.
